An easy going Model Railway Club with 40+ Members. Meet once a week normally on Thursdays although other occasions are available. The Club is currently modelling in N 00 and S7 with exhibition layouts in those scales, 4 layouts being available. We hold a large exhibition locally in September (Sat 28th September this year) and also have a thriving social side with BBQ, visits and trips out. Our Group is a small and welcoming gathering for anyone interested in modelling narrow gauge railways in the popular scales. Our members are currently operating completed layouts and building new projects in OO9, Nn3, 0-16.5, On30, Gn15 and 1/16 scales. We have novice and more experienced members of all age groups.
We generally meet at monthly intervals at an agreed venue, currently Barsham Village Hall, Barsham, near Beccles close to the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Please check first.

Stowmarket Railway Club was formed in 1977 to "promote and foster interest in all aspects of railways in a pleasant and sociable atmosphere". The club meets every Tuesday in premises just outside Stonham Aspal. Every first Tuesday of the month is devoted to "real railways". In the winter, we arrange talks and slide shows by guest speakers or members. Other Tuesday evenings are railway modelling evenings". We hold two Fairs every year in March and October and stage our annual exhibition in April

A small friendly club that models in most scales including narrow gauge . Presently building three new layouts one in O and one in OO and a third still being planned probably in OO. Also we are putting fine detail to a OO9 layout that is just hitting the exhibition circuit . The club members also have exhibition layouts that are shown at exhibitions that we need help operating . Club premises are situated at Grange Farm Centre, Barsham, near Beccles, Suffolk - just south off the B1062 Beccles to Bungay road. Our main club night is weekly on Thursday evenings from around 7:30. Some members attend on most Thursday afternoons. Larger scale modellers (Gauges 0 and 1) meet on Wednesday evenings. WVMRC has around fifty members, working in the most popular scales and gauges 'N', 'H0', '00' , '0' and '1'.
