The Gauge 1 Model Railway Association is organised around local groups - our Surrey Group was formed in 1998 we have access to nine garden tracks as well as the Guildford Model Engineering Society and Sutton Model Engineering Club's extensive facilities. Gauge 1 is a very sociable hobby; our meetings are an excellent way to get advice and help. We meet on the second Tuesday of every month and on some weekends.

The group is entirely 7 MM including coarse scale 3 rail.We meet on Monday evenings from 7.30pm until 10 PM (except Bank Holidays).We have a large layout NORMANDY JUNCTION (continuous run) , a smaller oval WANBOROUGH ROAD for smaller wheelbase locos and stock , and a brand new test track which incorporates points . Our clubroom is available exclusively to us , so is used for building etc no need to put it away.We also run club open days and the Reading Trade show .We welcome enquiries / visitors

The Hampton Court Model Railway Society has layouts in OO. As a minimum, the first Sunday of every month normally sees at least one layout operational.
Currently we are building a layout based on Hamworth in Dorset and it is set around the time of electrification.
The OO9 layout is now at an advanced stage of construction and portrays a West Coast minor port which exports minerals.
