The best range of ready to run models in the country but also the most expensive. Would recommend comparing prices with other shops before committing to a purchase. [Response: "We try to offer a premium experience by offering the widest selection of products in a high quality environment. Commercial factors dictate that we cannot be the cheapest in the country but equally we not always the most expensive either. We are pleased you consider us to have the best range of ready to run models in the country and look forward to welcoming you to our store again soon."]

This is a large well-stocked model shop who manage to hold a large number of ranges not often found it such quantities at other model shops.
However, being a large very well-stocked shop many will travel considerable distances to get there. only to find there isn't a WC available to customers (even my local model shop has this facility). The customer in-need is directed to the adjacent station only to find their WC locked. Back in the shop this is often followed by a enforced reduced browsing experience.
Unfortunately (and from the experience of several visits) the staff can be somewhat indifferent which doesn't endear one to return unless absolutely necessary. Not impolite but the minimum to assist.
However, on the positive side it's relative ease of access by car (or rail) must be acknowledged.

Large shop with huge stock (they are main importers for several continental ranges). Very helpful staff who will advise on your requirements and get anything you ask for out of the store. I always find something that I hadn't even realized I needed until I saw it. Also, their mail order service is very efficient.
Parking on site. Easy to reach by train as right next door to Ford station.

I’ve just begun to build an N gauge layout. The staff are pleasant however I would single out the help i’ve received from staff member martin which so far has been great. He is very knowledgable and very patient! a credit to the store. Great selection, very open, bright and clean premises. Good parking to the rear.

In the area so called in. Very narrow car park, be careful. Plenty of stock, but, for me did not seem to be laid out with much thought. Wanted to browse and spend, but strulled to find my bearings. Why cant all the OO stock be clearly sited and away from other gauges?
If you are travelling a long distance it may be worth checking ahead to confirm opening times.
