Went in today as I've just decided to get back into the hobby after a fair few years. David the owner was brilliantly informative, welcoming and helpful. I've come away with a much better idea about how to go ahead with my layout and will definitely be going back. There is something there for everyone, be it Tri-ang, Hornby or Peco and Graham Farish N Gauge. Next time I'll also be getting some sweets from the adjoining sweet shop.

Ordered 2 scenecraft buildings last week on 22nd and they arrived today. I was lucky to find the items because bachman have stopped production. So very happy that this company had them in stock and delivered them so promptly - well done and thankyou.

I have called in at this shop twice in the past two weeks. It is next to the butcher's in edwinstowe's main street almost opposite the statue of robin hood and maid marian, who are said to have married here (See ... ). Each time I was struck by the proprietor's helpfulness. The first time he almost persuaded me that DCC with sound is a "Must have" Without being at all pushy. I was there today on the offchance that he might have a particular paint - and he had! This is possibly the smallest model shop you will encounter, but it is amazingly stocked. The owner says that if he hasn't got something, he will get it for you. Not far off the a614 just west of ollerton, it is well worth a detour. Each time I managed to streetpark outside the shop, but there is a car park nearby. The other half of the shop is used by his wife to sell sweets and suchlike. If only she could be persuaded to give up her half to model railways too!
