The shop is small and I wasn't expecting to find much, but I could have spent hours in there. There was a vast range of new and obsolete stock. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. A real gem of a shop.

I went to find this shop after reading a review of it in BRM magazine that made it out to be Britain's best kept secret, sadly I was left disappointed. The shop is very small and poorly organised. The owner seemed uninterested in me and unwilling to help in my enquiries and his helper seemed equally unhelpful. In fact rather than helping me he seemed more interested in keeping the bunch of people who were hanging around not buying anything or showing no interest in buying anything happy rather than making a sale. I enquired about several new releases which I was told had either sold out, not been ordered or failed quality control, at this point I gave up and called it a day. King Of Warwickshire's Model Shops? I don't think so.

As others have said, it's a very small shop but absolutely stuffed with stock. RTR models are very competative prices and a reasonable range of kits and bits. Very helpful owner. Free parking is usually available within a couple of minutes walk.

Able to get a wide range of stuff so to speak, and well aware of what their customers like. I have Had no trouble with this shop since starting to use it a couple of years ago. The advice given should you have a railway modelling problem to solve is usually very helpful.

My first visit to this little shop today. and blimey little is the word. There were two customers already in the shop so I could hardly open the door, let alone step inside. Despite it’s cramped situation it’s a really well stocked shop. It’s packed floor to ceilings with OO and N, both new and used. The owner seemed really helpful and friendly and he went out of his way to search his stock room for the little item I was after. He couldn’t find it but offered to order it in for me. The shop is on a little back street in the old town. I managed to park right outside. Next time i’m in leamington i’ll definitely pop in again.

Well I picked up some abuse for my last review. Stand by it but have continued to visit and it does grow on you. It does have stuff that larger (Are there smaller?)shops don't. Last visit was in search of a tin of humbrol 85. So many thanks for closing the shop and dropping into the basement for me.
