Packed with stuff and really helpful and friendly staff - talked to me and my 4 year old son about trains and our railway, and what we wanted. Went in to buy scenery, he talked us through the options not just promoting the most expensive. My little boy was desperate for a train as well - we asked about cheaper ranges and he went through options and also suggested some second hand locos to get more for our money. Found us 'a diesel with connecting rods' that my little boy wanted, (Class 06) and showed us the trains we chose working on the in-shop track. A really pleasant experience shopping there. Mick , Castleford - 10 Sep 2014 - Brilliant shop, helpful staff who talk your langauge, great range of model rail stuff Jon , Manchester - 12 Jun 2014 - Friendly shop well laid out with a fair selection of secondhand as well as new stock / accessories. Lovely n/00 gauge layout in the shop for demonstrations - A rarity these days. Free parking for 20min outside the door.
