Visited for a browse as in Swindon for the weekend. Good selection of stock for a modest sized shop, including some interesting second hand and genuine special offer items. Friendly staff were willing to spend some time pursing a specific enquiry I had. Proprietor told me that he is the third generation of his family to run the shop!

Lovely little shop that is has a good selection of both OO and N gauge items as well as airfix and other general modelling items. Well worth a visit and of course if you need something specific that is not in stock it can be ordered. Staff very helpful and have good knowledge of all modelling things to help everyone from beginners all the way through to experienced modellers.

An excellent little shop with a friendly owner who is always ready to give advice. He even stocks a reasonable amount of N gauge which I find rare in the smaller shops.

Always excellent service from everyone involved, will order kits etc if they do not have it in stock and then phone you as soon as it is in, and mostly cheaper than you can buy Online. They may not carry the full range of models as in the past, but being a small family run shop this is to be expected in the econonmic climate at this time, and as stated above they are always willing to order in those unusual bits and pieces needed. Being in the town centre there is a car park within 2 minuets walk, the bus station if travelling by public transport about 5 minuets walk and within 10 minuets from the railway station.

Living in swindon I have been here a number of times. A small but well stocked shop, always plenty to look at, well displayed, and items at reduced prices from time to time, and second hand. Seeing the other comment, it is not in a rough part of town at all, it's just off the main shopping street, regent street/ bridge street. It's in fleet street where the council have concentrated the bars and such like, so whilst it may be noisy at night, it's pleasantly quiet during the day. Worth a visit. Five to ten minutes from railway station.

A proper model shop with an enthusiastic and knowledgable owner. Very good range of diecast. Some scalextrics and radio controlled stuff. Lots of N and OO railway. Good range of scenery and model making tools. Not in the nicest area of town!
