Great News for Kent Modellers. The Hobby Shop has moved from West Street to a much larger premises at 85 Preston Street, Faversham and remains a modellers "Aladdin's Cave" but now with greater room to view the immense stock. Top Marks to Harvey, the Manager, for making this very bold move and he deserves every success. I have been a very satisfied customer for many years and highly recommend this shop to my fellow modellers. Now worthy and as promised that 10 out of 10!

Since my last rating in 2015 this shop has gone from strength to strength and really is an "oasis" in a barren area for a truly personal run model shop. The range of products has expanded even further with war gamming materials in stock, often useful for the model railway enthusiast. Lego is also now in the range. As I have said before the "10" is only held back by the need of big shop. A happy customer of many years.

The manager of this shop has just instigated a full refit and this has made a significant improvement to what was already an "Aladdin's cave" of a model shop. New shelving, carpets, etc have been installed and the layout of the shop is much improved. Well recommended, yet again, as a well stocked and very friendly shop. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the faversham area. The only reason I have not given "10" is because in my view the manager needs a bigger shop!!

Would go out of my way to visit this shop. Good to very good levels of stock both british and continental outline. Has scale kits (Aircraft, tanks etc.)but stock is mostly railways. I found the owner helpful and knowledgeable. There are some bargains if you are prepared to look.

I have shopped at the hobby shop since it's early days in the 1980s, because they have a large range of railway items (British and continental), diecast and plastic kits. The owner is always helpful, orders available items upon request and appears to squeeze as much stock as possible in to the limited space available. Their website is regularly updated, with new items in stock, including photos usually taken by the owner (He told me this is why he has to spend so much time using his laptop throughout the day!). You really should visit, you will find something to spend your money on! Parking's easy (Main car park is less than 2 mins walk from the shop and also some side streets available if you look around) or take the train (5 mins walk from the station).

Very disappointed at the range of scale models, ok if you want toy trains already built or diecast models.

While the owner was a bit taciturn the shop was well stocked and my kind of place! He had a nice selection of recent plastic kits by airfix and others and a tremendous amount of OO gauge trains and details, including trackside signs and what I needed most - spare wagon and coach wheels and axles. (It’s tough to find them in the states!) I would cheerfully go back again if in the area.
