Manufacturers of the Locomotech turntable motorizing kit for Peco (TM) and Southeastern Finecast (TM) turntables. Available on our Online ordering page.

We supply a motor with all metal gearbox which is quieter than a loco. The motor is suspended from its gearbox shaft and is directly mounted in line to the centre of the turntable bridge. There are no flexing forces, as caused by conventional gearboxes, only the required rotation and no noisy plastic gearbox reverberating into the base of the well. The weight of the motor is all the weight necessary for the bridge to sit on the carrying wheels of the bridge. This design ensures that the bridge rotates smoothly with no tipping or juddering and is controllable down to very slow speeds. Please enquire by 'phone or email if you are building a turntable by another maker or scratch building your own as we may be able to supply a solution. We normally do not charge extra for custom designs.
