Bodmin & District Model Railway Club

Formed in 1989, the club always welcomes like minded enthusiasts whether new to the hobby or not! We currently have 3 exhibition standard layouts, Old Elms Road, a DC, OO gauge Fine scale 50s - 60s Western / Southern layout and a DCC modern image layout called Elmsbridge. We run our annual model railway show usually October / November time. But, with current Covid-19 restrictions, no own shows are planned.

Established over 40 years ago Cornwall 0 Gauge Group caters for those with an interest in all aspects of 7mm railway modelling. Meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesday each month (except December). The first meeting of the month is always a running night with the Group's 34' x 15'test track available for member's and visitors use. The second meeting alternates between running nights, demonstrations, talks, modelling competitions and similar events.

Hayle Model Railway Club & Duchy Railroaders

Hayle MRC & DR has over 20 members who model in all major gauges from N to G in both British and American outline. We have exhibition layouts in N, OO and 0 gauges. Our club room in Praze-An-Beeble has space for around ten layouts. We meet Mondays and Thursdays at 19:00. We welcome new members, adults and juniors (With parental supervision), and we have disabled access. Level of skill is not important as there is always someone who can pass on their knowledge.

Helston & Falmouth Model Railway Club

The club was formed on 15th January 1951. The club has members whose interests cover N, OO, & P4 scales. We have a spacious clubroom with workshop facilities and number of layouts in 00and P4. We hold an annual exhibition each year. Meetings are held every Wednesday and Friday evening. Please contact the Chairman for directions and more details.

Plymouth & South East Cornwall Model Railway Club

The Senior club in the Plymouth and South East Cornwall area having been formed in 1963. New members are always welcome regardless of their abilities. The clubroom is open each Tuesday and Thursday from 19.00 onwards. We currently have three club layouts and several private layouts in progress and a OO scale exhibition layout, Merryfield Lane.

Redruth Model Railway Club. Firstly we meet twice a week on Tuesday’s and Friday’s from 19.00 on wards to approx 21.30, our subscription fees are: £2 per week (Full Adult) £3 per week (Associate) £1 per week (Junior) and you get free tea or coffee plus plenty of friendly advice on layout and kit building and plenty of help with repairs to get you moving again. We have no age limit as such but we ask that all sixteen’s year old`s and under are accompanied by an adult.
