Culm Valley Model Railway Club

The Culm Valley Model Railway Club started in January 2007. At present we have 20 members from ages 17 to 70ish. There are no real experts in our club so we are having fun learning together. We have an 84' OO gauge, & exhibition layouts in N gauge, OO (SR terminus), OO9 & O gauge. We have organised very succesful shows, (500 viewers saw 15 layouts last year) & have exhibited several of our layouts around the SouthWest. Ilfracombe Model Railway Society is a club for model railway enthusiasts of all ages. We meet on a Friday night at the "Old Foresters Hall" above Pearce's Funeral Directors in Ilfracombe, North Devon. We build model railways of all shapes and sizes, using a variety of gauges. We hold an annual exhibition at the the Space,Wilder Rd, Ilfracombe for the public to come and enjoy our layouts too.

North Cornwall and Devon Model Railway Club

A varied programme throughout the year may include visiting speakers, film/dvd shows, member presentations, working demonstrations, trips out, working evenings or just 'playing trains'! We have three working layouts. Two open days/exhibitions are held each year when members use their own layouts and interests to raise funds for local charity. It is hoped to gain a permament and secure base to store and work on club layouts in the future. New Members are most welcome.

The South Devon Model Railway Society meets every Thursday evening from 7:00pm till late. The society has two large layouts one OO and the other N gauge. We are a group of people who are interested in many aspects railways and railway modelling. Our members come from all walks of life and range from 11 to 80 plus. We are interested in most scales and are currently building layouts in both N and OO gauges. Several of our members are also members of EDMES and are helping to build a dual gauge miniature railway in the grounds of the community centre (St. Katherine's Priory) where we are based.
