The Culm Valley Model Railway Club started in January 2007. At present we have 20 members from ages 17 to 70ish. There are no real experts in our club so we are having fun learning together. We have an 84' OO gauge, & exhibition layouts in N gauge, OO (SR terminus), OO9 & O gauge. We have organised very succesful shows, (500 viewers saw 15 layouts last year) & have exhibited several of our layouts around the SouthWest. We are a group of people who are interested in many aspects railways and railway modelling. Our members come from all walks of life and range from 11 to 80 plus. We are interested in most scales and are currently building layouts in both N and OO gauges. Several of our members are also members of EDMES and are helping to build a dual gauge miniature railway in the grounds of the community centre (St. Katherine's Priory) where we are based. |
