Blandford Forum Railway Club

Blandford Forum Railway Club was set up to build a near-scale 'OO' gauge model of the town's S&DJR station, as recalled in the 1950s-60s. The layout featured in the February 2011 edition of Railway Modeller. It is on permanent display inside the Museum and available for viewing during Museum opening times. Our latest project is a model of Spetisbury station, to be followed by Bailey Gate. We also meet up at 7pm on the 1st Friday of every month, also at the Scout Hut, for talks, slide shows, etc.

Bridport & District Model Railway Society

We are a general model railway club with an open mind regarding whatever aspect anyone may like. We meet weekly and have a large test track which offers running for 'N', '00' DCC and '00' Analogue, plus 0. These tracks are often used for various narrow gauge creations that members may bring in.

We run two exhibitions each year, one early season at Beaminster, Dorset each January. Then our main Summer Exhibition at the end of July which has from 2018 moved to a larger venue with free

Christchurch Model Railway Club

Currently the club has around 12 members ranging in age from 16 to 80. We support other organisations, as well as local charity shows, by exhibiting when invited. We also enjoy a social side to include wives, partners, family and friends.
Visitors are always welcome to join in with the talk and work in the clubhouse.

The Society meets every Monday evening except bank holidays from 7.30pm at West Stour Village Hall near Shaftesbury. We are a small friendly group and are currently constructing a OO Gauge double track circular layout featuring a country junction station with a branch line. We also have an N-Gauge layout, which we exhibit. We also have occasional slide shows and club outings etc.

Membership of Weymouth's established club offers the opportunity to meet other local railway modellers and exchange information, opinions and ideas. Wimborne Railway Society

The Society was founded in 1975, and now meets twice a week, and has 90+ members.

'The Corkscrew' magazine has 6 issues a year
Club events include illustrated presentations by guest speakers and club members, visits to mainline, heritage & other privately owned railways, museums, in-House quizzes & photographic competitions.
