Bexhill Model Railway Club

The Bexhill Model Railway Club (BMRC) is a small but well established model railway club formed in 1968. The club has its own clubrooms in Clifford Road, Bexhill town centre and meets regularly on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, although work on layouts can be carried out anytime members wish. The club has around 30 members and hosts an annual Exhibition on the second Saturday in August.

Meetings are every Tuesday from 7.30pm at London Road Station, Shaftesbury Place, Ditchling Rise, Brighton. New members over 18 welcome. We currently have 3 layouts under construction two in OO, one based on Eridge and the new clubroom based layout Highcombe, we are also rebuilding a layout based on Swanage. East Sussex Finescale

Formed in 2013, East Sussex Finescale modelling group is an association of railway modellers dedicated to finescale modelling. Our members are (not exclusively) geographically located along on the Southern's East Coast between Lewes and Rye.

On Yahoo Groups the association has a lean towards the Southern and incorporates finescale modelling in P4, EM and OO without bias.

We are the East Sussex Area Group of the G Scale Society. We hold events throughout the year on a regular basis indoors and some outdoors. Details of these events are available to Members of G-Scale. We always welcome new members and are known amoungst our contemporaries as the friendly society. All meetings are in G-Scale Model Railways. Membership of the G Scale Society is a requirement but if you want to come and see what we do then please make contact.

East Sussex 0 Gauge Group is an area group of the Gauge 0 Guild, which is the national organisation for railway enthusiasts interested in models at the scale of 7 mm: 1 foot. The group brings together members living in East Sussex, parts of West Sussex and a large part of Kent. Members have a wide range of interests, including fine and coarse scale 0 Gauge, historical and modern, hand-built and ready-to-run. We have close links with the 7mm Narrow Gauge Association.

We are a small group currently modelling in 00 and N gauge. We cannot describe ourselves as 'Finescale' modellers and are very much of mixed ability. Our clubhouse is small and our current membership reflects this but we do have the flexibility to add further club nights should membership increase.

We are a long established model railway club and have exhibited 00 (4mm) and N (2mm) scale layouts at various shows in over 30 years. Ashdown Junction is our current 00 large layout which has a modern image feel. This is assembled on the 2nd Monday of each month for members to run their own stock. Formed in 2010 we are a firmly established friendly club. We currently possess nine layouts in 00, N and OO9 gauges. Our main layouts 'Pevensey Beach' in 00 gauge, and 'Murrell Park' in N gauge are exhibition ready. A further N gauge layout 'Coast Road Central' is presently receiving concentrated attention to ready it for exhibitions. New and prospective members (experience immaterial) are assured a warm welcome.

Uckfield Model Railway Club

Meeting in their own clubrooms in the centre of Uckfield predominately on Monday evenings from 7.30pm. The club caters for railway modellers in 2mm, 4mm and 7mm scales. They also hold the annual Uckfield Model Railway Exhibition at the Uckfield Civic Centre on the third weekend in October each year. New members most welcome.
