Heywood Model Railway Group meets on Monday evenings between 18:00 to 22:00 also on Wednesdays between 10:00 and 14:00. We model in all scales from N to G using both DCC and analogue control. Annual exhibition in May during 2020. See website for membership and further details.
We now hold an Open Day on the second Saturday of each Month except in the Month when we have our Annual Exhibition instead

The Lancashire & Yorkshire DCC Model Rail Group, formed in May 2007, was one of the first model rail groups in the UK that focussed on DCC.
However,  although there is still a focus on DCC we welcome new members from all backgrounds, skill levels, and railway interests.
Our members are always on hand to give help and advice if needed.
We are a friendly club and are in the process of revamping our clubrooms which means that we are open to new members.

We are a small club of about 25 members. We have layouts being built in N gauge, OO dcc and OO fine scale dc. Although members have interests in other gauges - 0, 16mm, 5" and 7 1/4" New members are always welcome to visit the club room on a Monday or Wednesday evening 7 till 10 pm. Founded in 1964 to further interest in all aspects of railways & railway modelling - we have premises in Brierfield and we meet on Tuesday & Thursday evenenings 7-30pm - 10pm. At present we are working on new layouts and we have test tracks in N & 00 at the clubrooms for use by members and visitors. We also have two 00 layouts - 'Ecclesford Junction' and 'Newbie Bridge' plus our members have interests in EM, Hornby Dublo 3 rail, LGB and, unusually, LEGO trains.

Preston and District Model Railway Society

The Societys aim is to further all aspects of the model railway hobby.
Layouts in 00(D.C. And D.C.C.), OO9 and N. Junior OO layout. Test tracks. There is a brew room, demonstration room and library facilities.
The Society welcomes modellers of all ages and experience. However, an appropriate adult must accompany members under the age of 16.
We currently have in excess of 35 male and female members.

Preston O Gauge Group

Group of O Gauge Modellers who meet on Monday evenings and hold an Open Day on the last Saturday of each month, and some second Sundays of each month. We have a large five track oval layout, a branch line, a Motive Power Depot, all in DC only, and a branch line which is DCC only. A refreshment area and a toilet complete our very welcoming set-up.
