The B(NN)RS was formed in 1974 by a group of local railway enthusiasts interested in promoting railways in the Retford and Worksop areas. 45 years later the Society has over 30 members whose interests cover all aspects of the hobby from modelling to the real thing.
We take an active role in promoting the improvement of local railway services and providing better facilities on our station.

Bingham Model Railway Club

We are an active group of modellers with widely ranging interests and we are always delighted to welcome new members. Our members model railways of a variety of eras and locations as diverse as the UK USA and Europe. Our club layouts include Deepcar (Woodhead Electrics OO), Ilkeston Town (LMS OO), Market Witham (BR(E)O) and our new project Trent Lane Junction set in the East side of Nottingham. A friendly society, formed in 1959 with 8 club layouts in N, OO, finescale OO and 0 gauge.
All abilities are welcome from novice to experienced scratch builder.
Our club comprises members of all abilities and are more than willing to meet fellow enthusiasts to enjoy and promote the hobby.
