EVENT CANCELLED - The Organisers have advised us that unfortunately this event has had to be CANCELLED due to the current National crisis.
2021 exhibition cancelled due to Covid-19 and changes to venue access. Future exhibition options are under review.
Future exhibition options are under review as the Stevenage Arts & Leisure Centre is no longer a suitable venue for our exhibition. This has been brought about because Stevenage Borough Council has embarked on a town centre redevelopment plan which entails radical changes in the vicinity of the Arts and Leisure Centre. The changes involve the creation of a new bus station and will incorporate and make full use of the car park adjacent to the main hall access doors. The works also involve major alterations to the access road to and alongside the Leisure Centre. These changes will severely impact on the ability for vehicular access for exhibitors and traders for unloading, loading and day/overnight parking to such an extent that the venue is no longer viable for our exhibition. Work is already in progress in making the infrastructure changes. So, despite all the great features of the Stevenage venue which we have enjoyed for the last four exhibitions coupled with excellent management support, the very restricted future access means that we will have to look elsewhere if we are to hold another exhibition. |
